The North Shore Firearms Training Academy (NSFTA) is certified by the National Rifle Association (NRA) and the Massachustetts State Police to teach firearms safety. In order to obtain a firearms permit in the state of MA, you must complete a firearms safety course. Upon completion of the class, you will be issued two certificates allowing you to process your firearms application with the police department in the city in which you reside. After submitting your application and your certificates, pending approval by your police department, you will receive your firearms permit. We provide the necessary course work for MA residents to meet the training requirement for their MA Class A, Class B, and Fire Identification Permit.With police staffing levels at all-time lows, it is more important now than ever to make sure you have all the tools you need to keep you and your family safe. In just four hours, you can complete the firearms safety course and obtain all the necessary paperwork to apply for your permit. With each passing day in this state, it becomes harder and harder to obtain a firearms permit. In Massachusetts, a firearms permit is a privilege, not a right!
